FORT WAYNE - DeWayne D. Florea, 51, died Tuesday in his residence.
He was born in Marion. He graduated from Marion High School in 1972 and attended Ball State University. He attended Goodman Theatre School of Arts and Drama in Chicago in 1975.
He was a major accounts manager of G-3 Technology Partners. He was a member of Masonic Lodge, Fort Wayne, Good Shepherd PA Work Camp St. and Charles Borromeo Catholic Church where he was an usher. He enjoyed fishing and golfing.
Survivors include wife, Bobbi Florea, Fort Wayne; daughters, Natalie (Peter) Hudson, Manchester, Conn., and Audra Florea, Chicago; a son, Patrick Florea, Fort Wayne; parents, Richard and Donna Florea, Marion; sisters, Bonnie (Phil) Elam, Fort Wayne, and Leslie Martin, Indianapolis; and a brother, Richard E. (Jan) Howell, Peru.
Mass of Christian burial is at 10:30 a.m. Friday in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 4916 Trier Road, with Fr. Chris Smith officiating. Burial is in Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation is from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at D.O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, with rosary at 4:30 p.m., and from 9:30 a.m. until services Friday at the church.
Memorials may be made to Bishop Dwenger Scholarship Fund
