A BIG, BIG week in sports history is about to be writ large in Chi-Town!!!!!!!
Chicago, with, at last count, TWO (2) major league teams...has waited a long, long time for this opportunity.......
And what a job Ozzie and the pitching staff has done. I love it....many players are other teams "casto-offs".
It is a GAME. Games are supposed to be fun. And the White Sox are all about the game...and having fun....playing the game that way it should be played....and many times, it is the little things...hits/bunts/steals that make the difference.
We grew tired of slammin sammy....the team who has the hottest home run hitter often doesn't go very far.... Singles,doubles, occasionally triples and some home runs....RBI's.
Like so many things in life, as often as not, it is the basics and fundamentals, no matter now much things have "changed"...or advanced technologically...
Should be fun......
Love to hear any and all input "herein" regarding the WORLD SERIES.....
I remmember carrying a small transistor around Jones Junior high....to catch up on the game..at recess...
I admire the Rocket for his work ethic and abilities. But my vote goes with our "no names" and the deserving TEAM......GO WHITE SOX!!!!!
