Reunion Weekend Activities

Concert in the Park, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.

If you’re in town come and enjoy music under the stars with us in the Gardens of Matter Park! Free admission.
Featuring The Posse, playing music from the 50s through today’s sounds.


Friday, August 4th, 5p.m. – 11p.m:

Meet & Mingle: Pizza King Night!

Meet up at the Garden House at Matter Park (for those who have not been around in a while, it’s the building by the pond).
Our sincere thanks to Playhouse Studio for sponsoring this venue. Pizza and snacks will be provided. Water will be supplied
but if you prefer soda pop or…‘other’ it’s BYOB once again. It’s free to attend the Meet & Mingle, but donations are
appreciated to help offset the costs.


Saturday, August 5th:

  1. Class Breakfast: 8:00a.m. ~ Breakfast $10.00pp (paid on site)

  2. Golf Outing: First tees at 9:30a.m.
    Shady Hills Golf Course
    $25 fees includes cart
    NOTE: Golfers
    Those interested in playing golf need to sign up with Rob Thomason on Friday evening at the Meet & Mingle or before. If you cannot attend Friday evening but intend to play golf on Saturday, contact Rob on Facebook, phone/text him at 765-603-6813, or email him at
  3. MHS Walk-Thru: Doors open at 1:00pm Enter the front doors.
    This is a non-formal activity for those interested in walking the halls of MHS once again and showing your family our alma mater. There is no official closing time for this, but probably open to us for a couple of hours.


The Main Event ~ Saturday, August 5th, 2017

Our 45th Reunion Celebration will take center stage at the

Roseburg Event Center, 2983 West 38th Street, Marion

Evening Itinerary:
Registration starts at 6:00p.m. for socializing and cash bar.
Group photo at 6:45p.m. SHARP. Followed by dinner and the rest of the night’s activities including our famous Class of ‘72’s Got Talent show followed by the DJ and dancing the night away.
*NOTE: The photographer taking our group photo accepts cash or check. The cost for the official group photo is $20 each. Our classmate Sandy Kirkpatrick Vest will be taking smaller group photos or any others you may request, at no additional cost. Of course, every cell has a camera, so click away!
